Academics are the cornerstone of any top school. We seek to create lifelong learners who are confident and independent, and fully reach their highest potential. To this aim, our top class teaching staff ensure that each student develop sound work ethics and self-discipline in all departments and faculties.
To ensure that each student receives the attention he deserves, our Foundation Phase classes are limited to 18 boys, and 24 in the intermediate to FET phases.
St.Declan's follows the National Curriculum Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS) as laid out by the DBE. However, we extend our learners beyond the CAPS requirements where possible, to further develop them academically.
