St Declan’s School for boys started in 2015, with administrative block and six classrooms, from Grades 1 to 6. Each year added additional grades, with Grade RR to Grade 12 being offered by 2021. The school has been blessed to have the support of an amazing group of parents, and the St. Declan’s family has grown in leaps and bounds, with over 500 boys enrolled for 2021.
The school has steadily added exciting facilities, including a large field of 12000m2, with a 400m athletics track, and two full sized sports fields. The field hosts soccer, rugby, touch rugby, and drummies with our sister school, Grace Trinity. We have an excellent indoor, heated swimming facility with six lanes of 25m and heated changing rooms. We have hosted many successful galas, and look forward to hosting many more. Our second field was added in 2018, providing an additional venue for training and hosting sports fixtures and events.
Young boys need to be active, and we have greatly expanded our recreation facilities so that there are plenty of jungle gyms for the for the little one, and open areas for the older boys to play sports during break times. Our science lab and Engineering Graphics studio add to our academic portfolio, as do exciting new subjects such as robotics.
St. Declan’s will constantly add to our academic and extra mural facilities, as we strive to offer the best possible all-round experience for our brotherhood of boys.
